At the end of April Ryan and I decided to take the boys on a little road trip to see our dear friends Devin and Shelby (The Brown's). The Brown family weclomed a new member to the family, a baby boy. They named him Lewis after her father (I believe). Addie, their baby girl is walking and full of energy. We both cannot believe how big she has gotten.
The road trip on the way there took us about 4 1/2 hours. We were so excited once we arrived. The first adventure we went on was to McCormick Park. This park had a little train, which as you know Caleb was all over and eager to hop on! Ryan and I wish that they had parks like this one in Las Vegas. Then again, we realized that we probably could never get on the train ride and there would be endless lines because lots of people would go there...
The next day (Saturday) we decided to take an early trip to the Phoenix Zoo, which by the way is super awesome! Caleb loved everything and was so excited to see all the zoo aniamls. He particularly went crazy over the turtles at the entrance of the zoo or maybe that was me since I love turtles.
After the zoo, Shelby and Devin had a small bbq since Shelby's parents were in town to join us. It was kind of a "goodbye" for now party with us since her parents are leaving on their mission soon. Ryan and I enjoyed our time visiting with her parents. My other dear friend Stacey and her son Logan drove down (about 45 minutes) to see us. I was so happy to visit with her since the last time I saw her was in April of 2009, I believe Caleb was only 9 months of age or close.
We left Sunday... though our trip was very short, we enjoyed every minute of it. I wish they stilled lived in Las Vegas.
Here is a cute pic of the boys on the way back home to Las Vegas....
We are a busy bunch!
Welcome! Hope you enjoy reading about our little family, our adventures, and our hobbies!

Easter 2011
So I realize that I am way behind updating on our little adventures these past few months. I plan to squeeze in a few posts before I have to settle down in front of the computer to write two papers this week for my new class I am taking, which by the way is called Integrated Business Topics. The final for this course is comprehensive. I am bit nervous about it but I think if I study enough and say a little prayer I should be fine... *Sigh* Maybe!
I am going to have to make this post brief... but I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Let me begin by saying the end of April was a busy time for us. Ryan was not around very much because of work, but I made the best of it by taking the kids out to do some fun Easter stuff. To begin our Easter celebration we went to Ethel Chocolate Factory up the street. Shelli and her son Jed joined us. Caleb and Jed had tons of fun drooling over the endless displays of various appealing chocolates. We were even nice enough to get a sample for each of them to try. Unfortunately, Thomas is still young that I only gave him a little taste (maybe even a tease). I think he might already be a chocolate lover! The line for the Easter Bunny was not long at all, so we must have came at the right time. We took our picture with the Easter bunny then strolled the cactus garden. Seems like some of them were in bloom. After the chocolate factory we decided to get some ice cream, so we all went across the street to the B&R ice cream shop. Caleb got some funky flavor, to bad I cannot remember the name. He loved it though and wanted more. I got strawberry cheesecake with cheesecake bites. I suppose that is my weakness. I gave Thomas a little taste, he loved it but I did not want to give him more in fear that the ice cream would an allergic reaction.
More Easter activities...
Shelli and I decided to do a small Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. I invited my sister and two nieces to join us. The kids had a blast. We decided to use all plastic eggs and fill them with goodies. The kids enjoyed finding their candy goodies in the eggs. Lizzie my oldest niece found the golden egg.
